You’re making a comeback with your 10th Mini Album <FML> on April 24. Do you have a routine while anticipating for the comeback?
🐰 I’d be so nervous before the day of release that I couldn’t sleep. I’m the kind of person who thinks of what to do for important events. Then after the album release, I check a little on how the CARATS react to it.
🍒 I review the photos, the MVs and the soon-to-be-released contents once again. I tend to do a simulation in my head, imagining the parts that CARATS will like. Then I contemplate much about the essential and eye-catching elements on stage, and anticipate for the comebac
The choice of two title tracks for this album attracted much discussion. This is your first double title track feature, so were there any specific reasons why?
🍒 Our members have strong determination. Since this could affect people’s attention, so people raised worries from our agency too. But we were confident. We’re going to catch two rabbits at once. Both songs are music [styles] we want to try, and messages we want to convey, and therefore we insisted on the idea that we should have two title tracks.
We could feel your strong confidence. We could see your ambitions as artists in detouring into new orbits.
🍒 That’s right. I believe that if we’re not even willing to try, then we’re bound to be eliminated. We want to take on new challenges and various trials. Personally, I feel the most satisfied with this album amongst the others.
🐰 These two title tracks have totally different vibes. ‘SUPER’ is a performance song that will remind you of SEVENTEEN. ‘F*ck My Life’ has a beautiful sound. The song is special because it conveys stories that we haven’t told you before. These are stories that can only be told by us in the year of 2023.
What are the highlights of the album that people could enjoy?
🐰 ’Legendary SEVENTEEN performance, legendary SEVENTEEN album’. Nothing misses out - not even for visuals, performance and sounds. It’s of a LEGENDARY scale!
🍒 This is the first album that focuses on the identity of SEVENTEEN. It’s all about processes and challenges for us. We do everything we want to, and as we do it we find them great. It’s been a while since an album struck me as memorable as this.
